Yup, Detroit is COUNTRY, and WYCD's proving it in the ratings again and again. Part of the success of the station is being truly "Detroit" and being all sorts of Country on top....

So how do you be all Detroit, and Country in a commercial while keeping the focus on the music, and getting two drive time shows in it too??????

When asked, "Where is the largest annual Country conert in the world?", would you say Detroit!??!  You should!!!!

99 point 5 WYCD's Downtown Hoedown is a 3 day concert event, with dozens of national acts, and over 1.2 million people attending this free concert each year, it's over 4 times larger than Fan Fair! This is an example of Terry's TV imaging broadcasted via Jumbotron to those 1 million people, plus the Tigers games at Commerica park that weekend to juice the crowd for WYCD's next contest.
